The Vancouver Ecovillage ecoBiz Directory is the most comprehensive list of “green” businesses and ethical trade in Vancouver. It allows customers to search for green, organic, fair trade and ethical suppliers of everyday products and services. It lists suppliers in easy-to-use sections, with a brief description of what they provide. This list is maintained proactively to ensure the information on companies is kept current. This is a FREE directory which doesn't require users to register. It provides links to a range of renewable energy suppliers, craftsman, tradesman, health and mental health services, courses and seminars, fair trade goods, organic food, health products, ethical gifts and much more. Advertising for our local Green businesses is based on the Pay-It-Forward Gift Economy principle. (Research has now shown that people who have received acts of kindness, and are more inspired to pay it to forward and that generosity among strangers becomes socially contagious.)

In addition to generating greater awareness of green and ethical businesses and services in our community, Vancouver Ecovillage is committed to saving our fragile planet for future generations, by reducing our carbon footprint and by growing Green Economy. We will uphold this promise by donating all our profits to sponsoring small green business start-up, thereby promoting and increasing the number of green jobs in our economy and creating more "decent" jobs for our under-employed. We also will strive to help the City of Vancouver reach the goals of its action plan of Greenest City by 2020.
