Cutting your dogs nails can be a terrifying thing to do especially if it is your first time. It’s important that you make it a positive experience for you and your dog by teaching your dog to relax. The first thing to do is to calm your dog. Speak soothingly with a soft tone and tell him things like “you’re fine” and “good boy”. Avoid saying “it’s ok” as it makes them anxious.
